The view changes every day at Gershon Bachus Vintners, a Tuscany-inspired Villa located on the De Portola Wine Trail in Temecula, CA. The patio is where everyone gravitates when the sun is setting because the views are simply spectacular; one day blue, one day purple, one day red, and most days a rolling mix of yellow, blue, and white. It gets windy up on the hill and we see all the colors floating by making it a constantly changing landscape. I painted this with that idea of constant motion. It is a living landscape even the employees love to watch. I am so grateful the owners are art enthusiasts and liked me and my artwork enough to invite me to what is actually their home-they live in the villa upstairs-to exhibit my art. This is just one of the many beautiful views. It is dark and bright at the same time which is a particularly baffling scene you wouldn't believe until you saw it. I am painting every angle from the villa and it is most challenging and exciting! Each new painting represents a view I see while working. I sketch them on location and paint while there. When it is too windy, I take them home and complete them in my studio. If you are ever in Temecula, I highly recommend visiting because not only are the views amazing, they also make incredible wine! The painting was only just completed and so not for sale yet as it is still wet and I have not decided on a frame. To make an offer, by all means, message me with the knowledge it cannot be shipped until it has oxidized. I have listed it to make prints available. Other merchandise will also soon be available via my original shop at prettypaintings.com. Just click Shop Original from there.
